【Toyo Automation Robot】The Principle of Linear Motor

2025-09-30 17:26:16 zhp88830

The principle of a linear motor is based on the Lorentz force, which is the combination of electric and magnetic forces exerted by electromagnetic fields on point charges. (If a charged particle q moves with velocity v in the presence of an electric field E and a magnetic field B, then it will experience a force) F = q[E + (v * B)]. Additionally, the use of magnet arrangements and multiple forces allows for independent movement of multiple forces on a single-axis stator without stroke limitations. There is also nanoscale positioning control, which can be easily achieved by matching a high-resolution feedback system.
